This is a group that is designed and dedicated to bringing young people into a closer relationship (or new relationship) with the Lord. We achieve this through Scripture, prayer, and love. This group is also dedicated to bringing young people into a closer relationship with their brothers and sisters in Christ. This is achieved through numerous, exciting activities. This group has a strong emphasis on evangelism. We strive to reach the lost with the Gospel, and we teach our young people the importance of sharing Christ with a Godless world. The Gospel is shared in every service at Journey. Though we desperately want to reach the lost with the Gospel, our primary objective inside the group is to facilitate our young believers in their maturing relationships with Christ. We believe we are able achieve all of our goals through the help and guidance of the Lord. It is the belief our that "if a young person is able to have a small realization of how BIG God is or how loving He is they will be compelled to serve Him." |

The youth plan to go to Rock Springs Saturday, July 17th. Sunday night July 11th we plan to go to Bible Baptist Church to hear Joshua Lloyd speak. Afterward we will have a fellowship at pastor Jerry's house. Be sure to wear your Journey shirt. On Wednesday night July 28th we plan to have a "water night" for the kids again. This will be with water balloons, a cook out, and a giant soaped slip and slide with games. On Wednesday night, August 4th, we will have an ice cream Sundae night.
